Scope of Work: This was the first of what has become many townhouse collaborations between ABS and SPAN. ABS provided full MEP design for the gut-renovation of this 1899 rowhouse on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. As is always the case for townhouse projects on narrow lots, coordinating shafts and minimizing intrusion of MEP utilities on wall thicknesses and maintaining maximum living width and ceiling height was the name of the game for this project.
