Scope of Work: ABS provided full MEP-SP-FA design for this new building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. To minimize length of flue piping, the high efficiency gas-fired water heaters were placed on the roof and downfeed the building. For a time it looked like the water heaters may be switched to electric due to the National Grid gas moratorium of 2019, but ultimately the building received its gas service and the design was implemented as planned.
